Nerves

I can honestly say that my nerves have kicked into overdrive! I have never felt this nervous before in my entire life! Ok. Maybe there were other times as well. Such as the time the Packers were in the playoffs last year and the time I thought Willy (the Orca) wasn’t going to make it over the rock barrier in the movie Free Willy! That can definitely be tough on a kid!

Anyways, despite the nervousness and the excitement today was filled with a lot of work. I spent a little bit of the morning working at Barnes and Noble and spent the other half of the morning speaking with my advisor from the Washington Center. The conversation we had mostly had to do with arrival and orientation information. Today was also spent reviewing the curriculum that was provided to me by the Washington Center. Looks like my semester has begun!

I was able to get a nice long run in today! It has been awhile and I am thankfully to know that I have not lost a step! Hopefully I can continue running in D.C.! I plan on spending the rest of the day reading one of my criminal justice books and meeting up with some friends that just arrived in Winona!

I hope everyone had a good and safe week! Stay warm and God Bless!
